Ironstone Ridge began when the owner, Luke Edwards, took the opportunity and acquired 40 acres of land on the Western Ridge of the Barossa Valley from an iconic retired winemaker in early 2015.

The name Ironstone Ridge represented the huge vein of stone that ran through the property. While it had provided many challenges, it had also rewarded the land with soil profiles worthy of great wines.

This was the beginning of Ironstone Ridge's journey.
